Our 10-day adventure begins in Casablanca, where we’ll greet you and provide a meal. Depending on your arrival time, we may explore Casablanca’s landmarks, including the iconic Hassan II Mosque, the Medina, Bab El Had, and the beach area. If time doesn’t permit, we’ll save these for the next day before checking into our hotel.
After breakfast, we’ll visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s largest religious buildings, open even to non-Muslims. Next, we’ll travel to Rabat, exploring the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, Kasbah of Oudaya, and Mohamed V Mausoleum. Our journey continues towards the enchanting Blue City of Chefchaouen, passing through the scenic Riff Mountains and Ouazzan city, culminating in an overnight stay at a traditional Riad.
Following breakfast, we’ll embark on a guided tour of Chefchaouen, exploring the Medina, markets, and charming blue streets, perfect for memorable photos. Our next destination is Meknes, once a grand Moroccan capital during the 17th century. We’ll visit Medina highlights like Bab Mansour and Lahdim Square before heading to the holy city Moulay Driss and the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. Finally, we’ll reach Fez for an overnight stay in a Riad.
Dedicate this day to exploring the spiritual heart of Morocco, Fez. Our guided tour of the Medina includes landmarks such as the Al Qaraouine University, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, the Nejjarine Fountain, and more. Enjoy a traditional lunch in the Medina before further exploration. In the evening, we’ll return to our Riad.
After breakfast, we’ll depart Fez and traverse the Middle Atlas Mountains. Highlights include Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” Azrou with its cedar forest and monkey inhabitants, Midelt, and the scenic Ziz Valley with its lush oases. We’ll reach Merzouga, rest briefly, then embark on a camel ride to the Erg Chebbi dunes. An enchanting night awaits in a desert camp, complete with music by local nomads beneath the star-studded sky.
Following breakfast, we’ll explore the desert, its oases, and the traditional irrigation systems used for agriculture. We’ll visit nomadic families for tea and head to Khamlia, renowned for its Gnawa spiritual music heritage. Enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant serving Berber Pizza before returning to Merzouga village for an overnight stay in a Riad.
Awake early to witness an awe-inspiring sunrise before departing Merzouga. We’ll drive to Tinghir, passing through Rissani and the fossil town of Erfoud. At Todra Gorges, immerse yourself in the stunning narrow canyons and serene water streams. Our journey continues to Dades Valley, where we’ll spend the night in a comfortable hotel.
After breakfast, we’ll leave Dades and embark on a picturesque journey to Kelaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate, known as the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.” En route, we’ll visit the breathtaking oasis of Skoura. Our path takes us to Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous filming location. We’ll traverse the challenging Tizi n’Tichka pass with stunning landscapes before reaching Marrakech for an overnight stay in a traditional Riad.
